It’s been too long since I’ve recut my demo reel. Check out some great new stuff!
Big updates to the camera package! It now includes Rokinon/Bower’s 24mm and 35mm T/1.5 cine primes to go with the 85, and full camera support from the good people at OwlDolly. Matte box, quick release follow focus with hard stops, and shoulder mount.
Also new is a set of 64gb high bit rate CF cards for shooting with Magic Lantern RAW. Which were recently used to shoot the short film Quille De Themis and will be working on episodes 1-4 of the new web series Choke N’ Toke, a docu-style comedy set in a dispensary.
For a complete equipment list, check out the equipment tab at the top of the page, and make sure you check back soon for a big update to the demo reel, which should be coming some time in the next few weeks!
I shot My Mother’s Hero, written and directed by Mike Aragon, in March of 2012 was just accepted to and screened at the East Los Angeles International Film Festival, and won the “ELAFF Concious Art Award”. Hope this is the first of many for this great film. Stay tuned!
The details of how is was submitted are a bit confused at the moment, but either way The Burning Baby, my thesis film I shot while at Emerson College has been accepted into the Short Film Corner at Cannes. There it will be screened and added to a database of short films for industry professionals, festival hosts, etc. to view and possibly bid on.
I would like to give a big thanks to all those that helped make the film happen, and of course a thanks to Emerson for getting it in the running! If you haven’t done so already, check out the film in the videos section of this site, and if you’d like to see it in HD, make sure to navigate to vimeo before playing. Enjoy!
